Professor Huang is strangely lenient and strict at the same time. Lectures and grading are EXTREMELY organized, and posted online. However, the biweekly homework and labs can be overwhelming when they pile on each other. "Curve" for tests is only a few percent, and you have to work hard for the extra credit..

Grade: B. Textbook: N/A. Valerie is a good professor don't get me wrong. She definitely knows how to teach the subject well and tries to make her students actually think. However, for a 1 UNIT COURSE, her homework is TOO MUCH. 1 Quiz and homework plus some group projects are too much.My favorite class so far at SDSU. I never leave positive reviews but this professor is incredible. She is helpful, actually cares, and does not make the material harder than it needs to be yet I learned more in this class than any of my other Spanish classes. If you have the oppurtunity to take this class you absolutely should.

This has been one of my least favorite classes at SDSU. Professor's Butler's lectures aren't helpful at all. All he does is derive equations and copy textbook problems on to the whiteboard. The textbook is ancient (1994) is full of mistakes and complicated derivations. The exams are very challenging and unfortunately he doesn't curve :/ Dixie is a bit unorganized at times and some of the professors don't know what they are doing. It is mostly known for a party school. Their tuition is the cheapest around, but it is for a reason. It is not a bad choice, but not the best and definitely not one I would jump to recommend. SUU is a better option. Mar 15, 2023 · Grade: B-. Textbook: N/A. This was one of the harder course taken at San Diego State University over Spring 2023. The main reason being the amount of chapters he covers during the 8-weeks is mind boggling. Get ready to read and learn two chapters per week. Then take two quizzes per week. Then take a test for every 4 chapters. Then take a midterm.
