Heroes of the Storm was designed to take a cut of Riot's multi billion dollar League of Legend cashcow. But HOTS came out way too late. The intent of this game was just lazy quick cash-in to overthrow LoL. But failed miserably. The game started off too greedy and with too few Heroes. Blizzard thought that their brand could carry the game.
