Abstract. A tsunami is a series of waves made in a body of water, like the ocean, that can cause serious destruction when they hit the coastline. In deep water, a wave can be just a few feet high and travel very fast. As it nears the coastline, and moves into shallower water, tsunamis usually slow down, but the wave height can grow to 100 feet!.

Then the DNA can be precipitated, or come out of the solution, by adding alcohol. In this biochemistry science project you will make your own DNA extraction kit from household materials and use it to purify DNA from strawberries. Figure 1. Strawberries are octoploid, which means they have eight copies of the DNA in their genome in every cell!Let the ball bounce until it stops, and then stop recording. Use the pressure gauge to release some of the air pressure from the ball. Record the new pressure reading in your data table and repeat steps 4 and 5. Keep releasing pressure and repeating the experiment until the ball no longer bounces.
