Tivo error v58
I am a few weeks in to Roamio ownership and about at the end of my rope. Roamio Plus, Cablevision, NDS cablecard. I can only go about 24 hours (sometimes 48) before I start getting V58 channel not authorized errors on different stations. I have replaced the cable card, had the cards...So, for the last year and change apparently we've had a V58 on some channels we are supposed to get. I never really cared and just thought we didn't get the channels but I've checked in my Spectrum lineup that I should be receiving them. It seems to be just a few. I have removed the cable card. Jan 1, 2020 · Got the TA units, connected them (or so I thought), and still no dice. Getting V53 errors, even after forcing the TiVos to reconnect to HQ. AND, no one told me until I called the CableCard folks, then I needed a splitter to send the cable signal both to the TiVo and the turning adapter(TA). AND, that a USB cable is to connect the TA to the TiVo. If you read back in the thread, you will find that the comparison was between switching inputs to an HDMI feed from the DirecTV box, vs. changing the channel on the TiVo to a modulated output from the DirecTV box.
