For those who don’t know the original films, they both relied on strong visuals and contained many scenes of people running down industrial style corridors pursued by bloodthirsty aliens. Alien is a 1979 science fiction horror film directed by Ridley Scott and starring Tom Skerrit, Sigourney Weaver, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, John Hurt, Ian Holm and Yaphet Kotto.
