It feels like I get conflicting opinions everywhere I look. r/premed and SDN recommend finding like-minded premed students to do “swaps” and completely avoiding coaching or editing services. I just read Dr. Ryan Grey’s PS book and he said to avoid swaps and use a coaching/editing service (his own is like $500-5k 💀).Consider majoring in whatever interests you and will keep you engaged and motivated during undergrad. Medical schools want students who are authentic with genuine interests, so it’s best to major in what you want, not what you think they want. Just make sure you fulfill the prerequisite coursework for the schools you want to apply to.
